After graduating from UNC-Charlotte as a NC Teaching Fellow, Amanda taught all levels of 9th/10th grade English and a Pre-AP course in Cabarrus County, NC. She learned while leading her PLC and working in an administrative liaison role that she also enjoyed working with adults on instructional and professional growth. Amanda currently serves as Literacy Design Coach at China Grove Middle School in Rowan-Salisbury Schools where she continues to learn about and advocate for balanced literacy, researched-based instructional practices, and professional growth.
