I am a Research Associate in the Program Evaluation and Education Research (PEER) Group within the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation at NCSU. I have 25 years of experience in education, including almost 20 serving as a teacher in grades K-8. I love that what I do every day continues to benefit students and teachers across the state. My primary expertise is in innovative use and acceptance of technology in education, and I specialize in qualitative and mixed methods research in learning design and technology. I am currently involved in two projects that aim to bring CS to all students through their elementary school teachers, offering PD for both in-service and pre-service teachers.
