Rebecca Shepherd supports 6 schools in Montgomery County, North Carolina, as a Digital Learning Coach.  She earned a BA in English Literature from Western Carolina University and a MLS from UNC-Greensboro.  She taught for 26 years as a Media Specialist and has spent the last two years as a DLC. She is a zealous advocate for literacy and digital citizenship. The unicorn is the national animal of Scotland.  Rebecca is an expert in antique North Carolina pottery and enjoys traveling with her husband and two daughters.
