I have been in education for 16 years, beginning my career in 2006 as an English teacher. But, I have also been a school librarian/media coordinator and an assistant principal. Now, I am an Instructional Technology Facilitator, and I believe I've finally found my niche! The revolving door of educational technologies keep our jobs as educators interesting and unpredictable. And, I enjoy translating that unpredictability into professional development opportunities on innovative practices and philosophies that keep our careers fresh (and never mundane). In my free time, I love to read, write, and roller skate. I am even on the Carolina Roller Derby team based in the Triangle, and you might catch our team performing in an event or two as the weather gets warmer.
