As esports has continued to grow worldwide, the number of learners in K-12 that are esports enthusiasts and gamers has also grown. Due to the growth in esports interest, schools have begun to implement esports-related content within the classroom. Through an esports curriculum, learners can learn pertinent life skills that apply outside of the classroom and esports industry. Additionally, because of learners’ passion for esports and gaming, esports can act as a vehicle for increased student engagement and school identity. In this session, participants will learn more about esports curriculum and how to best utilize it to create positive change in learners’ lives.
