What Do You Mean by “High Quality” STEM Integration?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Just because kids are on the floor playing with pipe cleaners and popsicle sticks does not mean they are "doing STEM!" They might be, but they also might be simply playing with pipe cleaners and popsicle sticks.

So, what really makes a STEM lesson high quality, anyway? Trafera has developed a STEM Success Matrix to be used as an observation or self-reflection tool to help pinpoint important components of STEM-based learning experiences. This session includes training on what to look for when observing a STEM lesson and why, as well as how to guide conversations for enhancing future STEM lessons.

This is a perfect session for anyone who is teaching STEM or is in a coaching or administrative role that supports STEM instruction.
