During this time we will talk about how standards based assessments can be used to Assess for Learning. As we embark on another year of uncertain end of year testing, what can we do to help prepare our students and teachers without over assessing and ensuring that the assessments given provide an opportunity for learning? Using the Instructure Learning Platform, focusing on Canvas LMS, Mastery Connect and Elevate K-12 Analytics we will demonstrate how to create, review and utilize high quality assessments that provide feedback to effectively evaluate the learning progress of our students. In addition, we will evaluate current data and PLC processes by identifying misconceptions and digging into the Corrective Teaching Approach.
