During this session we will explore the use of a Microsoft staff team to keep teachers informed and supported in both our virtual school and our traditional schools. During the pandemic we realized the abilities of our teams platform to help staff communicate and collaborate in non-traditional ways. Taking those lessons, we have expanded its use across multiple schools in the district. Steve Clarke, who was the principal of our virtual school last year, is now the principal of one of our high schools and has continued to use a staff team for all communication and collaboration needs of the teachers and staff. The lessons learned from that struggle have created techniques that keep our teachers more supported and informed. Now instead of a consistent flow of emails and reply-alls we have one place for all communication documents and processes needed for the running of a modern high school. The best part is the same techniques for communication with the staff are also the way we communicate and assign work for students. Teachers truly have the ability to work through one pane of glass.
