Feedback form is now closed.
Tired of heavy sighing when the newest PD mandate is announced? Tired of seeing everyone’s eyes on their phone while you are delivering PD? Then it is time for #somethingelsePD! In this session, leaders will receive a digital toolbox to assist with transforming PD from “get and sit” to an engaging model that will lead to a shift in instructional practice. Leaders will discuss the (4) NC Blended Instructional Models and how blended learning can be used to train staff. Leaders will be guided through the four models and will experience instruction via whole group, small group, and independent work. Leaders will learn about case examples from other NC districts and leaders at NCDPI and NCCAT to provide a blueprint for successful blended PD. Blending your PD is a bold and courageous move. There will be obstacles and lessons learned; however, the impact will bring positive change in teacher and student learning. Teachers will be excited and invested as they engage in the learning process.
