CoSN recently published the 2022 State of EdTech Survey Report and described that Cybersecurity is the number one priority for PSU IT leaders. While technical tools are needed and utilized, people still remain the biggest risk and weak point for organizations. This session will outline current risks targeting people in the PSUs, outline the free data privacy and cybersecurity resources/platforms available, and give a descriptive guide for establishing a cybersecurity awareness program for staff, students, and families of North Carolina.
