Great Expectations: Moving to Canvas for All

Members of the Wake County Curriculum, Digital Learning & Libraries, and Project Management teams will share our approach to moving all teachers and students to Canvas as the universal LMS to support blended learning.

Participants will
-Review goals for the Canvas Expansion project
-Consider the project timeline and work plan
-Explore support structures and professional learning provided to various stakeholders including school and district leaders, school-based implementation teams, teachers, students, and families

Participants will actively participate in learning activities throughout the session including:
-Engaging in a Jigsaw protocol in which they explore sample resources 
-Participating in a backchannel to share questions and ideas during the session
-Individually and collectively reflecting on their district’s current climate and readiness for an LMS initiative
