Feedback form is now closed.
In this session, we will explain how Wilson County Schools implemented Project Based Learning to enrich students’ learning experience. There will be lessons tailored to support career pathways as well as cross-curricular subjects. Lessons will also include learning standards from reading, science, social studies, STEM, music, and art. Using digital tools and problem-solving skills, students will analyze data to determine how to solve the problem. Students will use the PBL cycle process to design, implement and evaluate their thinking. During this session, teachers will learn how to create authentic lessons that incorporate real-world issues, research, technology, literacy, and problem-solving. Teachers will be given free PBL resources and examples of how each PBL was adapted for different learning levels. Participants will be allowed to explore various PBL websites and we will provide attendees with the presentation resources for reference.
