Participants will learn how to create their own digital vocabulary journal templates in Pages that can be shared with students for endless journal creation. The templates can be modified and personalized by the teachers to meet their classroom and students’ needs. They also will learn how audio recording can be incorporated so students can read aloud the vocabulary and the sentences they write. Participants then will learn how to use Keynote to create digital stop-motion animated GIF files which bring the vocabulary sentences to life. The animated GIFs then can be exported and added to the vocabulary journals in Pages. Once the vocabulary journals are complete, participants will be shown how the journals can be exported as EPUB files and uploaded to Apple Books for parents to download and view.
