In this session, we will explore various Assistive Technology that may be used to increase students’ participation in the classroom. The session will provide the information through slides, video, and demonstrations. The AT demonstrated will cover a wide range from DIY to high tech. Attendees will be able to create at least one DIY item during the session. There will be time for participants to try out the various AT as well. The learning objectives are as follows: • Attendees will gain knowledge of different types of assistive technology (DIY to High Tech) to utilize in their classroom for ALL their learners • Attendees will learn about the importance of AEM and students receiving them in a timely manner • Attendees will have access to resources that can be used in their classroom • Attendees will be aware of the services that NCATP provides as well as other services available in North Carolina to support them and their students in the classroom and beyond
