Working backward from the definition of Joy, we will discuss ways in which teachers can regain their joy in teaching, while at the same time making learning fun and engaging for their students. We will share ideas for: opportunities for daily successes, gamification, incorporating choices, collaboration, and positive experiences with learning. Teachers will interact with tools and resources, and leave prepared to reduce their own workload and have fun engaging with their students.
