Kick in the Afterburners: Using Adobe Express, Canva and Wakelet Templates to Ignite Creativity and Collaboration

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Educators are told not to reinvent the wheel but there's a large amount of re-evaluating, revamping and revolution from year to year. We look for new and creative ways to engage students but time is constantly ticking. Enter the next phase of planning: templates. Templates are NOT new. However, companies such as Adobe, Canva and Wakelet have seen the need for high-quality templates as a jumping-off point for teachers and also for students. Remixing materials, married with resources and app partnerships, opens up a new world for creation in half the time. All it takes is a spark and some fuel to give students the ability to branch out beyond what they thought was possible. Every student deserves access to tools that will help them grow and with these FREE services, it can truly be provided to everyone. The future depends on their ability to think critically and creatively, collaborate meaningfully and effectively, and then communicate their messages to the world!
Participants at all levels are welcome as we travel from account creation to worldwide challenges and contests. Student-driven applications will take center stage through the use of posters, announcements, portfolios, expert projects, reflection pieces and more. Templates for remixing will be shared along with time for participants to collaborate within the application of their choice. Come join us and experience the creative boost to propel you and your students forward!
