Gamify Your Inquiry-Based Learning

Feedback form is now closed.
Inquiry-based standards require students to comb through primary and secondary sources. This can be very taxing for students. Through a gamified strategy, students learn to race the clock and actively engage in the material, collaborate, and compete. Since we work in a virtual academy, NCTIES participants will team up and use technology-enhanced gamification to deconstruct a compelling question. All participants will walk away with a ready-to-use (mostly) activity they could immediately implement or share with co-teachers.
While this session would focus on Social Studies Inquiry-Based learning, applying these strategies should work cross-curricular.
