ISTE Student Standards Activated ~ Now What?

In this session, participants will be briefly introduced to the ISTE Student Standards. After that, they will look over the standards and choose 3 that they want to explore. Then, they will take their device and move to one of their choices and have the option to explore the instructional resources with others in the group that align with the standard. For example, Merge Cubes & iPads will be available at the 1.3 Knowledge Constructor Standard along with access to other digital tools that participants can look at and explore. At the end of the session, they will take a few minutes to type how they will or have used the standard in their classroom/Media Center using Padlet. Each rotation will be 10 minutes long, and the presenters will be rotating around to the standards to offer assistance with the featured tools that will be at each standard. This is a station rotation type of session with the participants collaborating with one another.
