Silent Rave at NCTIES - Let's Make Music!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Headphone/Earbuds REQUIRED for this session!

Here's crazy idea #43 - a session on how to use website and apps to lower the barrier to student music production. There are so many resources out there that make music creation attainable without years of training. Original student music can then be a powerful addition to classroom projects. I've used original music in the classroom, especially in the context of student created podcasts. This session will also include a silent rave where teachers will create original songs and share them with the group. Then we'll all listen through headphones and when the beat drops, DANCE PARTY!  Glow sticks to the first 100 participants.
