Feedback form is now closed.
In this session, participants will get a chance to participate, as lead learners, in lessons that center on the North Carolina Digital Learning Standards and were designed for a district core library media curriculum funded by a Digital Learning Grant. In the context of learning about the curriculum, participants will explore a variety of lessons that include: maker/design-challenge, inquiry, technology tools and platforms such Book Creator and Chatterpix, and many others to get students excited about reading and learning. Another component that will be demonstrated is the integration of digital portfolios as an assessment and reflection tool in the library media center. Through digital gallery walks and interactive participation in lessons, participants will learn how digital tools can be effectively integrated into a library media program to create strong and effective instructional experiences.
