A Lesson in VR: Maximizing Creation and Student Ownership

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
This interactive session will provide participants with concrete ways to increase student engagement and ownership of learning through their creation of virtual reality environments. Our presentation will outline the design process for our Thinglink VR projects as well as options for creating and/or locating 360 images.

Participants will engage with our “make and take” project resources and work collaboratively to create an interactive VR scene using the Thinglink platform. Student work samples will be shared and participants will be provided with all necessary digital resources in order to implement a project of their own.

Though “Expedition kits” partner nicely with our student-created VR tours in Thinglink, they are not required in order to design/view these VR lessons/projects.

Technology required: Web-browser enabled device (laptop, Chromebook, tablet, etc.)
