Participants will engage in 6-key factors of why Educational Technology should be integrated with instruction and learning. This will be demonstrated through the use of Pear Deck. Participants will see how Pear Deck can be used to support these 6-key factors, such as to increase collaboration, communication, creativity, critically judging or evaluating, demonstration of learning, and confidence to create an organized borderless learning environment for all grade spans. Participants will create mini Pear Deck interactive lessons with the 6-key factors embedded. These lessons can be flexible and adapted in real-time to be self-paced or used in a whole-group teacher-led format for viewing and sharing with other participants. Next, participants will experience how the use of Educational Technology with these 6-key factors at the forefront will produce an engaging activity that supports all learning styles with diversification, equity, inclusion, and meets accommodations and modifications needs. With minimum adaptation necessary, it is a great fit in all learning spaces, which connects to the blended learning framework and moves from the traditional lecturing style of instruction.
