Come fly with us! There is no denying that drones are becoming increasingly popular, and the sky’s the limit for teaching STEM skills with these unmanned aerial vehicles. In this session, we will share with participants how we have used Drones in classrooms as well as at our district summer STEM camp. Drone safety, lesson planning, and materials for various Drone challenges will be discussed. Videos and photos of actual lessons will be shown to illustrate how our elementary and middle school students have utilized drones. Relevance to curriculum standards will be addressed.
