Moving Forward with SEL: A Digital Approach to SEL Strategies for the Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Participants will be able to experience several different SEL strategies from a student perspective including a digital four corners activity, gallery walk, 1,2,3 Clap brain break, and a "suits" activity for Optimistic Closure. There will be differentiation available by allowing participants to actively do the strategies and/or observe the strategies live. We will debrief both why the strategies target social emotional learning and specific ways that they can be implemented in any classroom. Finally, we will explore some digital tools that compliment these strategies that include but are not limited to Google Jamboard, Slides, and Padlet. These practices all come from the SEL 3 Signature Practice Playbook which can be found here, and an example of the strategies that we will model can be found here
