This workshop session will focus on how to transform basic Canvas Assignments into "fancy-like" Canvas Assignments using the Word/Google Cloud external tools and the Student Annotation tool. Students can easily edit a Word Doc or Google Doc linked from OneDrive or Google Drive using the Office/Google Cloud external tool. The PDF student annotation tool is a tool within Canvas like no other. No need for additional outside purchases of software like Kami or Adobe when using the PDF annotation feature that is built within Canvas Assignments. This session will engage educators in creating "fancy-like" student assignments using the three tools. Together, we will actively create these assignment types within the educator's Canvas instance. The session will also provide step-by-step guides for educators to use when they are creating these assignments independently.
