Casey Nealy currently serves as a district instructional coach for Columbus County Schools in NC. Prior to this position, she taught in various elementary positions, the majority of which she taught first grade. She is nationally board-certified in Reading-Language Arts for Early and Middle Childhood Literacy. Since the onset of the Science of Reading initiative in NC and the high need for blended learning that has come about as a result of the pandemic, Casey is passionate about marrying the two to provide effective blended learning instruction in classrooms. Casey is a Rethink District Facilitator and coaches the teachers she works with to integrate the various blended learning models into their classroom instruction. She is passionate about coming alongside teachers to co-teach, model, and have coaching conversations to enhance instruction.
